Tasks
Provide expertise and ensure / improve the quality and technological capability of existing and upcoming tightening processes and equipment in assembly functional area.
？
Key Responsibilities
·？？？？？？Detect, analyze and coordinate all tightening relate issues in assembly to ensure stability, reliability and quality of engines produced and maximal performance of the equipment;
·？？？？？？Provide expertise and communicate problems to relevant partners. Liaise, negotiate, and influence them to ensure the preferred operational requirements of products and processes are met in accordance with all health, safety, environmental and BMW standards;
·？？？？？？Organize, complete, and analyze acceptance tightening process, tightening tests. Support MFU studies and failure mode and effect analysis;
·？？？？？？Complete tightening process surveillances, identify and analyze non-conformities, install emergency procedures, and apply methodology to ensure that problem rectification is in a systematic approach and fully sustainable;
·？？？？？？Provide robust solutions for all tightening related tasks and problems not solved by production teams. Initiate and lead internal and external project teams if necessary;
·？？？？？？Ensure and improve all tightening features in series production maintaining efficiency and minimize downtime to maximize the performance;
·？？？？？？Participate in internal expert groups to define and implement overall methods, processes and standards in tightening processes and technology;
·？？？？？？Liaise TA tightening experts, liaise BBA tightening experts. Exchange experience, problem solving, standard, and project information.

Qualifications
·？？？？？？Bachelor degree or above / graduated in Mechanical Engineering / Manufacturing;
·？？？？？？Fundamental knowledge of tightening processes and technology;
·？？？？？？Ability to analyze and resolve technical issues using systematic problem resolution techniques;
·？？？？？？Competence to motivate and co-ordinate people and mobilize resources to achieve desired results;
·？？？？？？Skills with analyzing and reporting, with high level of personal commitment and motivation;
·？？？？？？Ability to work on own initiative;
·？？？？？？Proficient English, German would be an advantage;
·？？？？？？Experience with tightening processes and technology 7-10 Years;
·？？？？？？Background in high volume automotive industries, preferable in engine assembly 4-6 Years;
·？？？？？？Experience in systematic analyzing and resolving technical issues 4-6 Years.
