Responsibilities:
· Partner with functional and local product teams to develop optimal pricing models and structure to achieve product goals.
· Under guidance, plans and estimates simple projects. Assist in detailed project plans including cost, schedule and resource requirements
· Employ a mixture of advanced predictive modeling, statistical techniques and judgment to create more complex components of product concepts and develop the structure and pricing for East products
· Lead and/or participate in the implementation and monitoring of the new pricing programs to ensure the desired level of quality
· Research new modeling techniques to improve models and modeling processes
· Research additional sources of information to enrich existing models
· Provide independent assessment on market sophistication level in terms of predictive modeling and work with regional and global product senior leadership for project prioritization
· Partner with the Cat Management team to implement Cat rating
· Provide technical or non-technical guidance to colleagues and mentorship junior analysts
Qualifications:
· Proven math and analytical skills, typically gained through
o Analyst I: pursuit of actuarial credentials, masters in a quantitative field or 2-3 years of industry experience
o Analyst II: acquisition of ACAS, 0-1 years of experience with a PhD, 2-3 years of experience with a masters, or 4 years of experience with a bachelors in a quantitative field
